now that im done my civil engineering degree and starting work soon, my buddies and i just got a new house down at the south end of ottawa. pretty sweet place really, garage, full finished basement, nice back yard, roof top patio and back yard deck, new kitchen, fireplace etc.
so now that im done my exams, im starting to pack so i can move next week.
PACKING SUCKS. i bloody hate moving. apart from my decks, random assortment of recording gear, furniture etc, all my stuff is little odds and ends and what not that all serve their purpose but are a pain in the ass to move. packing the little stuff is such a pain in the arse .
moving sucks to your athsmar.....

I think I'll just leave all the furniture here though and just take the essentials. :stongue: |

the only furniture i really have is my stand for my decks, my table for my computer and rack case for my studio equipment and my bed and dresser....
does anyone know where one can pilfer reasonably sized boxes? i have checked my local grocers, they now say that they recylcle the boxes and dont give them to customers. the local SAQ (LCBO / booze store) wont give me boxes unless i buy more than one bottle of booze, now although i am strangely comfortable with the idea of buying 16 bottles of hooch just to get 8 boxes, my bank account cant handle that kind of financial commitment.... |
