How to remove duct tape from skin?

earlier tonight while working delivery i was walking across a lil pile of mulch on campus and there was this metal hoop, mbbe 1.5' in diameter, kind of wire you see on a chain link fence. so i didn't see it at all and managed while walking to get both of my feet through it at once, and proceeded to get in a short fight with the sidewalk and lose hardcore. anyways, my elbow got scraped up pretty good, didn't hurt that much but it was bleeding a bit
so unfortunately the place i work doesn't have much in the way of first aid supplies :p i ended up finding some gauze, but since we didn't have any medical tape or anything else to stick it with, i had a choice between gorilla tape and staples, and yeah i went with gorilla tape
so yeah, long story short (cor version): i got a piece of gauze on my arm lined by duct tape, and i'm wondering what people would suggest
right now i'm leaning towards a bottle of gin and ripping it the off, but i'm curious if anyone knows any less painful and hair-removing options |

haaaaa no, i'm not that hardcore
cut out a length of gauze, folded it so it was squarish, then taped it down along the 4 edges |

| Acetone (nail polish remover) will get rid of most anything. Just make sure you clean it off with lots of soap and tell her/him next time to be a bit more gentle as you're not hardcore. |

i just remembered why ripping it off might not have been the best idea
i was in a rush when i put it on, so turns out a good chunk of tape was right on the heart of the wound...meaning its now bleeding like crazy again :wtf::wtf::wtf:

hah yeah, i put it on myself
on the outside of my elbow (hence the shotty job)
rofl the entire process was me walking in the store to the sink, scrubbing it pretty hard with a wet paper towel, pouring some whatsitcalled over it, and taping the bandage on, took like 2 minutes total
we were busy :/ |
