eggcorns (acorns) turn into eggs if you put them in the refrigerator at night. Every morning I woke up there would be an egg where the eggcorn had been. So i started writing my name, drawing pics, etc and they all were on the eggs.
One time the eggcorn was cracked and I got a cracked egg :(
My dad also used to pull up to the ordering speaker at driver throughs and ask "Little man do you need help out of the box?" and then hed introduce us by first and last name and bit of embarrassing information to the worker.
He loved watching us DIVE for the backseat as we went there. The kid who had to sit in the front seat was the lamb to the slaughter and fights used to break out so we didnt have to sit there. |

The swallowing gum one was a bit different for me; you swallow gum and it'd stick to your ribs. And if you swallowed a lot of poppy seeds from bread rolls, poppies would grow inside you. I stopped believing that including what jolz has mentioned when I was about 6.
OK, I think I've said 'swallowing' enough for one day. :wtf: :p |
