Considering you and your gf have only been together for what? 6 months or something? Yeah a break right now is stupid. If you guys can't handle a little bumpy patch this early on...your relationship is pretty much doomed, imo.
You don't just bail out when things go , that's what pussies do. If she wants a break, end it for good...this will become a pattern of make-up break-up bull, and that's not what happens in successful relationships. |

hold up hold up. everyone is jumping to conclusions right now. first my gf and i have been together for a almost a year and a half. and the story goes like this; basically we got into a fight, a big one as in we dont talk for 2 days. i come to the conclusion its better if we just break up and we go our separate ways, It be better for the both of us. So i decide to leave to pick her up from work, surprise her and break it off on the drive home. Her friend calls right before i go to leave to talk to me abt what the is going on lately, and i tell her im just on my way to break it off with her. she convinces me to not do it. I say fine and sleep on it for a night. Next day i talk to my gf for about 2 hours. We talk about how i was planning on breaking it off etc. and she says well maybe we should just take a break from eachother for a week. U live your life without me for a week and decide whats better. we'll take a break.
I think its gay. but truthfully today, i had one of the best times. iT was warm weather chilled with friends went golfing drank sat poolside with some friends and some hotties. And the bonus of it all was that i had no responsibilities. No work to worry about, No gf i had to call, Nothing to make me worried, nothing to make me think. I just enjoyed my day. weird and so different from the last year and a half and i really liked it |

With this attitude, it is definitely over. If you know you are no longer invested in the relationship, then there is no point in dragging any of it out with this whole B.S. break stuff. Meet up with her and finish it as soon as possible... it'll make things better in the long run. No need to prolong the suffering for either one of you. |

| i feel like breaks make sense when you've been dating for like four years and you wake up one day and have a panic attack realising you might just get married. Yano, if you knwo you're gonna be with the person but wanna just see the world a little first. |
