BBC world clubbing

Hey guys,
I've been in contact with the World Clubbing assistant producer. Email me if you have any ideas to share. Here's her email describing what she is planning to do....

Hi Sean

I came across the skube website and thought you might be able to help me...

I'm working on a BBC documentary about the club/ youth culture scene in
Toronto and Montreal for a series called 'World Clubbing'.

We aim to incorporate clubs, fashion, dance sub cultures - hardcore dance
fans, dj's, dancers and visual artists, dance publications, dj schools,
dance websites, etc. It's my aim to find stories which best represent the
dance scene in Toronto and Montreal.

With this in mind I am trying to gather together as much information about
the scene and talk to as many people in these two cities before we come out
next month to film with our presenter Mr C.

Here's a bit of blurb about the show:

After a hugely successful first series in 2000, 'Choice World Clubbing'
is back. In the first series presenters included Paul Van Dyk (Berlin),
Erick
Morillo (NY), Roger Sanchez (Buenos Aires) and Seb Fontaine (Tokyo). A six
part
documentary series for BBC Two, each programme will be presented by a top
DJ and will bring you clubbing related stories from each city. Throughout
the programme we'll be featuring a real cross section of people who are
involved in the club scene whether it be clubbers, entrepreneurs, producers
or
promoters. Reporting on the best clubs, bars, shops and hang outs from
each location, the series promises to be both entertaining and informative.

We're also looking for stories, the people who are doing things differently
out there and some of the more colourful characters of the club scene. Or it
could be a club that has a weird theme night (e.g Distinctive Recs have just
set up a night where everyone dresses in medical gear - that's London for
ya!) We've found a group of clubbers in Paris who have illegal raves in a
graveyard and in Melbourne we've found a guy who's invented a dance which is
taking clubland by storm. You get the picture!

I'd welcome any contacts you can offer and feel free to pass my email
onto anyone you'd think would be interested in featuring in our show. Sorry
to bombard you with questions but i'd welcome your news, views and help.

I'm also trying to find out what clubbers do to hang out when they're not
clubbing (e.g snowboarding)

It would be brilliant if I could some info from you. I'd also like to find
out more about your website. Are they pictures that have been sent in or do
you go out and take them?

Hopefully hear from you soon,

Sangeeta
