Dumbest f*cking idea ever. Why da f*ck in gods name would I go to a DJ listening party with music played by another DJ. Its like getting into DJ Eco's car and listening to him play DJ Tek's CD.

Ultra records probably is pulling more of the strings behind these parties than Tiesto as they're trying to sell copies of the CD. Tiesto can make money through so many more ways - net sales, iTunes, downloads, performances, etc. Still, and this is no knock against Serge, it feels like slapping someone's name on something when they have little affiliation.
If we really want a listening party, then go to Rhapsody (those of us TAs that use the service), download Tiesto's new album, open the windows and turn it up. |
