I don't know how but my aux hard drive is not being recognized by my system and I have way too much stuff to lose on there. Is there any way to recover the data without setting up the drive again (aka losing EVERYTHING?) Thx in advance...

Not too sure what you mean by 'auxillary' hard drive. How is it not being recognised?

If it's a case of XP not booting, then get a copy of BartPE onto CD, load up the OS and drag everything onto an external HDD.

But I've probably mis-read the entire problem...

Well, it's on this system and is an additional hard drive. It's a Serial ATA drive.
