Nice Dolphin Fish also!...mahi mahi (which means "Strong-Strong")
we get them up here in NJ also, they have such great colors....thats a nice size

Hey mate,,,My father in law caught a similar sized dolphin a week before me...We've still got about 15lbs of fish in the freezer...Good eating...

Also Brian,,,,Where is that red snapper i caught???...Is it still in the freezer....

It was a mutton snapper and yeah it's still there unless Sheila threw it away.:disbelief

Good ol' NJ...about 100 miles offshore, in the canyons, Im moving to Florida.......
Water Temperature (WTMP): 44.4 °F
Dew Point (DEWP): 44.6 °F
Wind Chill (CHILL): 38.5 °F

Yeah Ed we were only about a mile off shore in about 800'. That's about as far as you have to go out down there to catch just about anything....the gulf stream is very close to shore.

lucky, we wait for the gulf stream "fingers" to reach NJ, thats when the Mahi Mahi and Big Tuna arrive....man 800' that close to shore, nice..at least you dont need a lot of fuel

the day that Brian caught the sailfish we caught a load more other fish,,,Bonita,,amber jack,,king fish,,and wahoo...The only trouble was is that my house was in the early stages of rennovation and we didnt have a freezer to keep them in...So we just left them with the charter....
