Nice Dolphin Fish also!...mahi mahi (which means "Strong-Strong")
we get them up here in NJ also, they have such great colors....thats a nice size |

Hey mate,,,My father in law caught a similar sized dolphin a week before me...We've still got about 15lbs of fish in the freezer...Good eating...
Also Brian,,,,Where is that red snapper i caught???...Is it still in the freezer.... |

Good ol' NJ...about 100 miles offshore, in the canyons, Im moving to Florida.......
Water Temperature (WTMP): 44.4 °F
Dew Point (DEWP): 44.6 °F
Wind Chill (CHILL): 38.5 °F |

Yeah Ed we were only about a mile off shore in about 800'. That's about as far as you have to go out down there to catch just about anything....the gulf stream is very close to shore. |

| lucky, we wait for the gulf stream "fingers" to reach NJ, thats when the Mahi Mahi and Big Tuna arrive....man 800' that close to shore, nice..at least you dont need a lot of fuel |

the day that Brian caught the sailfish we caught a load more other fish,,,Bonita,,amber jack,,king fish,,and wahoo...The only trouble was is that my house was in the early stages of rennovation and we didnt have a freezer to keep them in...So we just left them with the charter.... |
