I love q-tips so much, I have a separate pack in my locker at the gym and anytime I travel, I keep a travel pack.
I used to be very aggressive with them until I had to go to the emergency in the hospital to pull it out with tweezers because the tip got lodged deep inside my ear and it felt like something entered my brain! :wtf:

You're all right, q-tipping isn't 'recommended' but gentle/safe probing of the ear isn't life-treatening. Obviously if you go in there and be aggressive it MIGHT penetrate your ear drum and can cause damage. Best way to remove ear wax is to drop a few drops of baby oil in, wait a few mins then let it drip out...but I prefer the feeling of q-tips in my ear rather than liquid swirling in there (oh and the feeling of my ears being nibbled on too :p ) |
