Come on, guys, give Theresa a break: William Orbit, Tiesto and half of the world dj'ing population sampled Barber's "Adagio for Strings" in the last decade :p
Theresa
*sigh*

Meanwhile, I am willing to bet that a lot of you n00bs didn't even know that it was originally a Classical (let alone actually have HEARD the original), and are just hopping on this "I am so intelligent, and superior" bandwaggon.

c'mon guys, we all know the ORIGINAL song is Tiesto's Theme from Platoon. Samuel Barber just ripped it off after he saw that movie.

That's such a lie. Tiesto wrote it after he saw the movie, then went back in time, killed the original composer and made sure he stuck his name on it. Then platoon used it later.

Unfortunately, the first time he went back in time he went too far, and accidentaly dropped a piece of paper on the ground with the notes for it.

Samuel Barber found it and composed a classical track.

Then after the time got warped, we have our present history and no idea of who the actual real composer is
