| From the samples it sounds good. More melodic than the previous one i like. I never understood what was so special about archipelago. I mean ok, "seven days to daylight" was good but nothing special, a typical intense psy-edged kick with a simple 3-note piano riff which i think i've heard it countless times before in the 90s. Anyway, production-wise, these guys are the masters, but musicality-wise, nothing special. The last album sounds good, a bit markus schulz-like i would say! (well markus schulz in his beginning when he was good lol...). Anyway, i have to say that the majority (if not all) of todays EDM lacks emotion or direction. Where are all these emotional themes, tear-jerking lead-lines, nostalgic pads and trippy samples damn't!? (i know i sound like an old-man now...). |

You must have missed something, this is probably their least trancy effort to date? |

Why? It has all the trance elements. |

Based on the samples i percieve it as less of a trance album than Lime Structure or Archipelago, that's all. |

| Just got a promo copy of the new album. It is definitelly very different from the rest of Vibrasphere's albums with a big concentration of the sound on chill-out then on more upbeat tracks. Despite that, the album is the most beautiful Vibrasphere has ever made so far. The tracks are very colorful. In fact, I came to a conclusion that this album is more visual then anything. The bright green colors of spring are breaking through the deep melodies blended with strong sunlight surrounded by the vast blue sea of joy. The feel of this album is still nordic, but unlike Archipelago, it feels like spring has finally arrived in Sweden :). It always fascinated me how Vibrasphere can turn sounds into vision, more so in this up and coming album. |
