i just signed up for facebook.. i noticed when u signed up you had to add one of those scrambled number and words to get aproved.
maybe TA could get this, that way we would have no spambots? |

In all seriousness, the only reason I even mentioned it is because at one point, the last post in every forum I subscribe to had the exact same spam post in it from 3 different bots :wtf: |

| yeah been banning tons of these, but can't clean up stuff other than the main forums so that's the only problem...and since most of those mods probably aren't super active...have to wait for like neo and swamper to clean them... |

Yeah, no worries man - I really didn't expect them to be cleansed instantly, it just really seemed like there were more than usual today for some reason.

| btw. just to do simpler for the mods. if you see a spambot, don't reply to it or quote it. just ignore it and it will be deleted sooner or later. |

| A large portion of these spambots can be prevented if we reinstate user approval. Regardless of what sorts of new filters are in place there's certainly been an influx of spam since we lost it. It'd be a lot better if we could get someone to do that. |
