When it gets really busy, TiL arbitrarily changes the age limit to something like this.

I only have one thing to say about this event: lol
AlwaysAwake
Again? And I thought it was Lawler who was doing his residency in TO. :tongue2

FYI... while it will no doubt be a busy night, it will not be the fiasco it was last time. That was unexpected, and the staff was not prepared for it. since then we're had busier night and they gone very smoothly.

I've been told the club will be doing advance tickets for this night. If that happens, i would highly suggest getting some.

Haha...

While I wont badmouth This is London like a lot of people will, the idea that a gigantic crowd of people showing up to see Sander in Toronto was unexpected is the exact type of attitude that causes these lineup disasters to happen in the first place.

I don't know if who you're speaking for when you say it was unexpected but I am imagining the head of security inside getting a footrub 10 mins before doors open when someone comes up to him and says, "Hey Marco, you'll never believe this but there are like lots of people out here, we better get some ropes and poles or something"

we knew that night would be very busy, but we didn't expect that many people. the deep dish night was nuts... but pretty much everyone got in. the sander night probably 500-1000 people were turned away!

people that have been coming on a regular basis will have noticed that after the sander night the ropes were replaced with steel barriers that extend almost all the way to the alley as opposed to 15 feet like the ropes did. this stops people from easily budding into the line and keeps it more organized. we also now have 2 guest list girls on nights that are expected to be busy, in addition to extra security to search and direct people outside. with a club that size with one entrace there isn't that much more you can do to keep things running smootly.

no doubt on huge nights even with the extra precautions there will still be some hiccups here and there, but there will never be a repeat of the Sander night.

that was retarded. i even left early! :p

that night a buddy of mine that works for the club was turned away
yes, staff were turned away!

there was a busier night after that i think it was MSTRKRFT with 100 people more in than the sander night and when i got there at 1am there was nobody outside... so it should be more organized this time
