Problems with skipping tracks on Traktor 3

Ok ive got two problems with Traktor 3. Firstly im finding that when any track is playing every few seconds the beats skip and if someone is nudging the record forward. This is obviously making beatmatching impossible even if i press sync. Anyone know why this is happening or what i can do to fix this??
Secondly, im trying to connect my speakers to my laptop (i have a Creative Audigy Zs soundcard btw) but want to be able to cue tracks up in my headphones without the sound from the track im cueing coming through my main speakers. How excatly do i go about setting the channels up in the preferences window of Traktor??

The skipping happenned to me too and I found no way to correct it :(
For the soundcard you just have to go to Preference > Audio Setup > Output Routing.
With your soundcard you should have 4 channels so in Monitor put channel 3 and 4. In Master put channel 1 and 2.
Now plug your Speakers ( I assume they are your Master Output ) in the green plug and your headphones (Monitors) in the black plug (should be black, but it can be another colour ) in your soundcard.
You should be able to cue without hearing the monitor out your speakers.

| not only the output setting, but in traktor there also is a control (in the middle mixing section, right below master volume) that contols the mix between master and cue in the headphones, meaning using that control you can set it to hear only the cue'd track, only the master, or any mix of the two in you headphones |

| Have you tried increasing latency? Also, is your computer powerful enough? |
