that doesn't mean she's attractive. She could still weigh 500 lbs, be missing an eye, be a pegleg, have 1st degree burns over her entire body, have 4 ears, have a boxer's nose, and, hell, let's throw in a penis just for good measure. | I know where you getting at. Beauty is more than just skin. I got that. I don't know her like all of the previous girls posted in this thread. So I can't tell you whether she really is beautiful or not. I am just saying that at first appearance she looks pretty good to some people. |

well, there are some general guidelines...for most people :nervous:
..but yes, true. Then we all get to argue over whose opinion most accurately represents the general consensus. |

Well, there are certain features which are deemed to be more or less desireable, for whatever reason (i.e. different types of bone structure, body shape, posture, etc.) |

Yes, exactly.
But everyone likes something different, right? Some people like straight flat bodies ( which I don't know why ), some people like pear shapes, hourglass shapes, apple shapes. I don't think posture should be a "to each his own" factor, shouldn't everyone like a women/man with good posture and not look like a hunchback? |

iirc, there are 4 or 5 different types of posture that people can be classified as having (with regards to where your shoulders are, where your head is, etc.). Certain ones are considered to be more or less naturally desirable, due to the relationship between the different types and the ability to perform different tasks like hunting.
edit: that's what I meant in the previous post--there are certain forms of each which are considered to be the most desirable ones, in general, like stronger, sharper facial features and broader shoulders for men, or larger hips and breasts for women.
The same goes for posture--there is a specific one that most people will find more attractive. |
