so my friend is spinning at Privilege tonight so I head down there with him as i haven't been out in a while...
We are checking out the crowd there before he goes on and who do we bump into but Tiesto. funny thing was 99% of the people there had no idea who he was....though eventually the SBE people figured it out and gave him a free bottle/table. Nice thing was he did say hi to my friend who was spinning when he left...though he did turn us down for a pic surpisingly. oh well - can't say i know what that is like being recognized...he did shoot a bunch of photos earlier in the night with other people.
i guess he's in town already kicking it before his Coachella gig.
anyway - that made a pretty boring night out a touch more interesting. |

See that's the problem, you have to offer Tijs money to take a picture with him. Especially when he's not performing. :rolleyes:

no - Tiesto lives in Holland though he just bought a place in Miami Beach a little north of South Beach.
and as to the pics he took earlier...actually it was more guys who recognized him and wanted photos. the wed nite crowd at Privilege is not one to have any idea who Tiesto is for the most part. and the picture was going to be with me and 2 girls...weird thing was the girl he was with kept on talking to me when he was interrupted by the people that came up to him. between that and seeing we were with one of the djs spinning, i was a bit surprised he said no...but whatever. i've met him years before when he played for Giant and he seemed pretty nice then when we chatted. |

Ahh yes Tiesto, I forgot he was goign to be at Coachella. That's so weird...
and yeah, I heard he moved to LA. Or he at least made his last album while in LA.
One of my friends ran into him in first class! Randomly on the way to a show in INDOnessia. Crazy eh? what a small world. |

| I am only a few miles away from where Coachella is happening, but it just does not seem like it's going to be a great night when only Tiesto's closing... got to sit through tons of other artists before you get to the good stuff... |
