Comes out in the UK and the US tomorrow. Doesn't look too shabby, hope it will be better than Ghost Rider. Anyone else interested seeing it?

Isn't this the new mini theme of tv/movies these days?
Taye Diggs in Daybreak
Denzel Washington in Deja Vu
I blame The Butterfly Effect for re-energizing the time travel genre. |

Sorry, but it'll be trash. Rotten Tomatoes doesnt have any reviews up yet, which means they didnt screen this for critics. Thats pretty much a tell-tale sign that its gonna be crap.
Even from an objective perspective, I dont have high hopes. Some of the special effects in the trailers just dont look all that impressive. We'll see. |

| Nicolas Cage doesnt seem like the action type of guy they should of chose someone else. i liked him in the weatherman and lord of war though. |

Lord of War was good. The Weather Man was OK too. tbh, I prefer him when he played action roles in his older films like Face/Off and the Rock. I'm not expecting it to be outstanding, but as a fan, I'll go and see it anyway. |

I didn't like him in any of those really. The only movie I really enjoyed, and I think he was nominated was leaving las vegas.

I was completely uninterested in this movie until I saw in the credits flash of the trailer that it's based off a short story by Philip K. Dick.
At least it has something interesting going for it - Dick is an excellent author whose stories have never failed to pique my interest, it's honestly just a matter of how faithful to the story they are in this cinematic rendition. |
