I like some of his stuff... its very danceable, however, im beginning to suspect that he has designed a program that lets him input an old popular song, assign a few unique sounds, and hit OK- thus producing a 6-8 minute long remix.

Input song: "hmm... lets do that hey now youre an allstar song... that was HOT"

Select Drums: "alright lets use a bass... and a kick... and .. put a snare and a clap in lol!"

Amount of compression: "100% baby! extreme!"

Length: short medium long (i dont give a ) "yea that one"

Hit ok: ok cancel

THANK YOU ONE MOMENT PLEASE

LOL!!!!

Fixed.
Ben Brown
you could say that about nearly anyone that sticks to their own style consistently.

Well a lot of those pop-star producers just take midi-files of classical music and synthesize the notes, something tells me this isn't what Prydz does but I guess we can't be 100% sure unless we peak inside his studio.

He does an awful lot of work way better than Proper Education or Call on Me.
Allied Nations
Prydz tunes are usually either simple and effective or drawn out and boring.

Theres certainly much worse. I actually thought proper education worked pretty well.

you can't fault his production skills ... he's done plenty of diverse stuff too so the arguement doesn't really stand up.

i love the "s.o.s message in a bottle" remix of his...

edit: thanks to iamessol, i realized i posted the wrong track i originally intended to. i meant his remix of "a bit patchy" by switch....

:wtf:

starboy
His programing and mastering of tracks is amazing, almost unbelievable.
wizniz
i just got done listening to his remix of blur - song2 so the initial post was a bit biased... rather terrible mastering on that.

regardless, the point is still valid.
