Are you looking for more ambient or chilled sort of deep house?
Gah... There was a thread about something similar to your topic like 6 months ago I think |

| Nothing chilled at all, just...really "surreal" or "ethereal" sounding but still maintaining that housey groove. |

I'de suggest these artists...
Jay Lumen, Snake Sedrick, Cassino & Laben, 3 Colours, Benz & MD, Derek Howell, Matthew Adams, Peter Martin, Peter McCowan/Alucard, Digital Withcraft, Jiva, Dominic Plaza, Parham, Rob Curtis, Retroid, Emersia, Storyteller, Chris Girard, Alican & Soner, and Yvel & Tristan.
And these labels...
Tilth, Toes In The Sand, Proton,Baroque, Existence, Electronic Elements etc. It's trancier stuff I think, with a house groove..basically "melodic progressive house", and a lot of it has an ethereal or other-wordly feel. |

Lots of familiar names, most of them I'd associate as prog though.
Going to check out some of those unfamiliar ones, thanks! |

Well if your looking for "ethereal" your going to want to check out prog or deep house. I'm not as familiar with deep house though, and most i've heard is more soulful than ethereal or other-wordly (which make it trance-like). It still has a house like beat, with trance like atmospherics and melodies. You might want to check out "Ananda Project". |

eh...maybe ethereal is a bad choice of word, lol.
Have you heard the first disc of Balance 011? That's basically what I'm looking for :wtf: . |

Yeah maybe...
Nope, this stuff is almost more what was on Balance 006, that's what I am thinking of. But your definitely looking for more traditional house music that is..melodic perhaps? Sounds kind of "beautiful" perhaps? |
