I heard this was in the works a couple of months ago and was completelly siked... It turns out that Mile End Records (Kirk's record company) has been working on the first volume of their Stereo Sound CD. What makes me even more excited for this is that fact that it is mixed by two of our favorate DJ's, DJ Vibe and Stephan Grondin. Not sure of the exact date though, does anyone know?? Thursday, April 19th 2007 – Mile End Records is pleased to announce the launch of Stereo Sound: 001, the first in a series of house music compilations inspired by the legendary Montreal nightclub. Mixed by DJ Vibe (Portugal) & Montreal's own Stephan Grondin. Stereo Sound:001 creates a unique blend of Montreal and International DJ talent. The Stereo Sound series is a tribute to Montreal's legendary after hour’s nightclub and the DJs and fans that have kept it on the short list of the world's best clubs for nearly a decade. House names like David Morales, Victor Calderone, Hector Romero, Carl Cox and Danny Tenaglia, are just a few of the regulars that have put this venue on the map.
Our first release, Stereo Sound: 001 captures the spirit of one of the club's most anticipated regular nights featuring DJ Vibe of Portugal and Montreal mainstay, Stephan Grondin. DJ Vibe has been on every world wide top 50 DJ list for many years now, and Stephan Grondin has been voted Montreal's top DJ for the last 3 years running.
