Good place to buy an iPod in downtown Toronto?

| Check Craigslist, Redflagdeals or the EhMac for sale forum. Usually lots of items new in box for less than full retail. |

you can get a 60GB for $369 at Canada Computers
They don't have 80GB models though. |

Last time I didn't want to give in, I bought a Creative Zen Micro for $300. It broke within 8 months.

The refurbs on Apple's site have the same one-year warranty as the new ones.
A good percentage of devices have defects...refurbs are ones that have their defect fixed (remember, these have been accepted as warranty returns, not user damage), rather than ones that don't rear their ugly heads until after the one-year warranty has expired.
$299 for an 80GB...holla. |

I'd go for the 30GB, slimmer and less expensive. Do you really need 80GB of music on you at any given time? I figured 30 was plenty for a trip or place I may go where I'm away from my laptop. |

| I have had three i-pods and everyone of them froze up after having them for only a month...good thing i bought a protection plan for them so i didn't lose out on any money...so my advice is don't buy one at all...i have had a sandisk media player now for a few months and have had no problems with it so I would recommend buying one of those |
