Trance is typical for MayDay since 1998. PvD always played it there.
The problem is the recent Armin's style especially what you can hear on ASOT is a bit cheesy. And I think MayDay is about energy. |

Paul van Dyk is special.He plays more than trance (hear last year mayday: Chris Liebing - Work It,Fable - Nightshift,Pvd - The Other Side in deep dish remix). For me MAyday is a techno festival with some trance stuff (but only a little bit) |

Mayday was and is never a Techno Festival...it is an Event for different kind of electronic music |
