Problem I see is this...
Go to maps.google.ca
type in Portuguese Club, Kitchener.
There are TWO places listed as 1548 Fischer-Hallman... one south of Bleams, and another at a reasonable location in the city...
The Facebook event says 1548 Fischer-Hallman WEST. Idunno what this means, and Mapquest & Google Map are useless.
Even better, look on this page:

And the address is 1548 WESTMOUNT?! WTF?!
Here's another option, which claims that the place is located at 1548 Fischer-Hallman EAST:

So yeah, very confusing. I was planning to get there by bus, but that'll be hard if this place is out in the middle of the country. |
It used to be Westmount yes. They changed the street to Fischer Hallman later once they built the new roads and subdivision up by the Sunrise Plaza and extended out.
It is in the country too as far as I know. If you took Bleams Rd and followed that out to Fischer Hallman and turned left and headed out towards Roseville, I believe that is where your location would be found. I have passed it a few times when I come home from my parents house. |

it's one of my pet peeves when I ask where to go, and people give me these complicated directions. Just give me a point on the map, and I can figure out how to get there myself. |

The link should have just been posted in the first place instead of asking to be PM'ed for directions. It isn't like this party is a secret or anything.. lol
I was trying to find you a link last night Dima, but I couldn't get google maps to give the proper directions, and I was too tired to continue to try... hahaha.. so good job Gera :) |
