nope. CoD3 was developed by a different company than the ones for 1/2. But it's heading back to PC |

Why not? The opportunity for creativity is far higher than in yet another WW2 game.
Seriously - I really don't understand the fascination with WW2 shooters, enough already. |
Well there is a load of modern shooters, and COD was the only WW2 shooter (unless there are still new Medal of honour games). Nobody forces you to play them  |

Yeah. Only, other than Brothers in Arms, the Medal of Honor series, and the rest of this list (click).
And what's the problem with "modern shooters?"
It's a far more broad and far less restricting group of titles. |

| bros in arms, I kinda different category from a typical shooter. Still its nothing compared to all the modern/ futuristic shooters out there. I like those too, but COD has always been a brand of WW2 shooters, why not come up with a different line for modern ones? a commercial low blow IMO |

finally got around to playing through this over the weekend. i was very surprised with how good it was, not so much the action which was very similar to all the other games, but in how the narrative was told. very refreshing.
and ive gotta say, the unreal 3 engine is just a ing juggernaut. i mean bioschock was gorgeous, but I figured there would have to be concessions made for the wide-open spaces, but nope! :) didn’t get a single frame rate issue (with everything maxed out) from beginning to end. Not sure whether it’s the bloom, HDR or texture bump mapping (or a combination) but everything just looked great.
So, for once I think the reviews are justified. Now, 2 weeks til mass effect, and 3 til alone in the dark and GRID. |

idk what that stuff is, but the fact that it runs on my upgraded POS makes it good in my book. |

About bloody time. We told you mate, you can't go wrong with CoD. It's like playing and being in a really good movie. Ramp up the difficulty and watch your adrenaline sky rocket! |
