He's good. Works at a Porteugese-Japanese school. Was planning on transliterating a JPN book to Port.

What's up with your blog, Lira?

Yeah, that's one way of studying :)

Personally, I prefer to memorise jukugoes and make random associations (such as 捨 and 拾 reminding me of electronic charges because of the (+) and (-) in them). However, I find it interesting when people say they have problems in Japanese (as Floorfiller mentioned he had) because I'm studying in order to be a Japanese teacher, and I should be able to help them out :)

I've got to update it more often :/

But I'm always happy to know when someone reads it... I promise I'm going to work more on that and post something interesting for a change :D

edit: Oops... misspelled the url in my sig - fixing it now :p

Good stuff. The adventures of Lira are interesting. One of the only blogs I can read without getting bored.

Does "turning Japanese" mean "being serious" or "having a wank"? I've read both explanations so far, and they both fit the song nicely :p

hmmm well i guess the reason i've had trouble with kanji is because it's mostly just memorization. yes writing them is good like andrea suggested, but just they can be very detailed and there are sometimes only subtle differences between characters ya know?
