No, no, no... if you're going to quit we need opportunity to ridicule you, re-enforce your feelings of being unappreciated, and point out how insignificant you actually are. Of course all that is unjustified because you're really a great guy and everyone here would love you and give you the adoration you deserve if only it weren't for those damned cliques. |

lol i was 14! i had never done anything with boys at that point other than makeout. it was kind of uncomfortable and new, but i just went along. |

They're hoping we'll talk them out of it... they're just looking for attention and reassurance that they are valued. Just like people who call someone to say they're about to take a bottle of sleeping pills. Unfortunately, they usually aren't valued and no one is too eager to talk them out of it. |

An important factor in determining the motive of these kind of threads is that it’s been said in numerous articles and such that when you verbally express your goals to friends and relatives, you are more likely to follow through with them. So maybe they feel like making a thread about it will help them to really quit because they’ll know what losers they look like if they come back to post.
U guys need to think more outside the box here. |
