hmm the way that is setup, it resembles Summerstage - except for all the areas that were fenced off at Summerstage :whip:
but i wonder what ppl thought about the area being under a tent at TW last year vs. it being outdoors like Summerstage. It def DID help out with the sun bearing down on us (even tho it was overcast on one of those days) and this better not only be FOUR HOURS like SUMMERSTAGE!!! :whip:

then again i rarely hear of a NYC pool being CLEAN so maybe its better overall...haha
hopefully this location has a great view (like TW did) that made it SOO worth going...hmm any photos of neighboring VIEWS on the site? i didnt take a look at it yet |

| This is a great venue. There have been a lot of non EDM gigs here, mostly of the hipster variety, duh it's in Williamsburg. I noticed the promoters this year have tapped into the dance music genre as they have also booked The Disco Biscuits (an electronic jam band more on a hippy tip). Booking Armin is a great step although, I don't know how the too-cool-for-school hipsters will react since they can't freely express themselves through dance. But then again, why would they pay to be there? |

Ever since I came to US that thing was just there, not open to the public for number of years. Finally they are transforming this into an entertainment venue, which is good. I always seen this place as some kind of stage since the pool isn't really in use. It's in freaking Greenpoint too, lol (some will get the lol thing)
Anway I'm looking forward to it with huge anticipation, haven't seen Armin in a while. Great summer is shaping up to be. |
