dented tweeter... best way to pop it out?

So I purchased a set of monitors on ebay and one of the monitors have a tweeter that was dented (pushed in)
what would you guys recommended to pop it back out?

| Something sticky like a bit of tape could fix your problem. But: BE GENTLE! |

| yeah, I also heard you can use stick tape. Stick it in the "dent" and pull it out gently. If you cant do it, bring it to a good, high-end stereo shop (not a Futureshop....a real audio store)...they can do it in like 2 mins. |

open the whole speaker, and push the tweeter cone from behind IF YOU HAVE ACCESS
Since it looks like a metal cone, you'll it up if you use tape:rolleyes:

Tweeters are nearly always (if not always) closed. In fact just about all speaker cones are these days. So short of dismantling the actual speaker cone... (which is not recommended, it must be said) |

used scotch tape, applied it gently
and it pulled out just fine
