that doesn't make any sense tho nor is that possible. bc if there's roughly 6.5 billion people in the world and nyc has 8 million..
so first you put it into a fraction.. 8 million over 6.5 billion... so then you divide 8 mill by 6.5 bill to get the percentage.. and it comes out to .0013333333333333333333333333333* (infinity)
so yea, if nyc was .14% of the population, then it would be 91 million.
that's if i'm doing my math right. feel free to check me peeps, cuz i suck at math and probably did something wrong anyway. |

World Population = 6.525 billion = 6,525 million
NYC Metro Area population = 18.7 million
New York City (5 boroughs) = 8.1 million
NYC Metro = 0.29% of world population
NYC = 0.12% of world population
