Coming to a HouSexy near you, AMP is proud to present the Techno baroness, the professional eardrum pummeler, none other than Ms. Punisher herself._ We invite you to check out her live PA set, which is sure to be the talk of the town for months to come._ The debauchery only gets smoother when DJs Brandon Invergo and Dirtybird open the night._ Visuals provided by Brinkman.
PUNISHER [Hej Records, Seismic, Detroit]
Known in Detroit and around the globe for her ambition and skills on the tables, Michelle Herrmann a.k.a. Punisher has set a precedent in a city known for its fickle taste. Her immersion into the techno realm began in Detroit in 1993, at the age of 15.
From the beginning, Michelle was constantly striving to progress in her art, and soon DJing was just not enough for her. In 1996 and 1997 she put out her first two releases on Detroit label Matrix records. Then, in 1998, she started her own label, Seismic Records, with friend and fellow producer Mike Brickner a.k.a. Cozmic Spore. Using the label as a tool to push forth the concepts of sound and motion, they have worked with and gained the respect of many world renowned DJs and producers. With releases from the Advent, Bryan Zentz, and Andrei Morant, collaborations with legendary producer Mark Gage (Vapourspace), and licensing from Dave Clarke and Billy Nasty, to name a few, Seismic is developing into a strong force for techno in the US and around the world. Now on it's 21st twelve inch release, Seismic Records has become an outlet for Michelle's creativity and allows her to continue moving in a new direction with her sound, as she combines the synthy yet percussive styles of Swedish and German techno with the underground sounds inspired her Detroit roots.
To back the momentum of her techno releases, Michelle travels the world DJing, performing LIVE PA's, and consistently dominating dancefloors with her unparalleled sets. Her sound encompasses Drum N' Bass, Techno, Electro, and everything in between. She has repeatedly played throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Latin America, and has headlined at large scale events and top clubs around the world, and has performed along side artists such as Joel Mull, Cari Lekebusch, Marco Carola, Ben Sims, Adam Beyer, Misstress Barbara, Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke, Derrick May, T-1000, Gaetano Parisio, and many others.
On top of her game would be an understatement for Punisher, as her accomplishments are only a small portion of what she has planned for 2007 and beyond, including the creation of a new label, Hej Records, founded with a unique vision. The new label will present the public with a release of a huge onslaught of music, including her first ever full length album!

DIRTYBIRD [Italo Business, NBFC]
Dirtybird, a bona fide genre drifter and indecisive vinyl addict, has been a relentless electronic music fan for the past 15 years._ Her journey to Denver and then back to Chicago in the late 90s marked the beginning of Dirtybird's obsession with sharing a unique blend of sounds that had soul, regardless of genre._ Denver's newly thriving scene infected Dirtybird, and by the time she moved back to chicago she was consumed._ It felt natural to buy some decks and to start creating music of her own.
In 2003, Dirtybird played exclusively at house parties for luv-n-musik. it wasn't until she was invited to do a monthly gig at the joint's "flirt" night at lava lounge that Dirtybird got settled into her own sound: a mix of minimal, electro, tech house, and techno._ It was also during this time that two of dirty's original tracks were aired on Q101's Sonic Boom radio show._ She also became a favorite on djsourceradio, a UK based internet radio station that featured unknown talent from all over the world.
Dirtybird's first EP can be found on the label italobusiness._ Look out for her remix of Trisomie 21's dark wave track "sweet running over," which is currently available and features such artists as Misstress Barbara and k-hand. there is also a chance of a few of Dirtybird's tracks to be released on Chicago's own Siteholder records an Zuvuya Recordings, so keep checking the news section for releases._

BRANDON INVERGO [Zuvuya, Coincidence]
The needle touched the record in the first month of Brandon's college life, and from then on, he was hooked. He spent his college years exploring the many facets of dance music and honing his skills behind the decks as the Electronic Music Director at his school's radio station, while also spinning at various events, both big and small, around the state. However, the unbridled excitement of spinning at empty house parties and over unnoticed airwaves could only last so long before the desire for something more would set in. Brandon's escape from Indiana couldn't be more anticipated.??Post-graduation, Mr. Invergo returned to his birthplace of Chicago, where he was quickly assimilated, quite unwillingly one might add, into the NBFC. While it was his stunning good looks that originally gained him membership to the elusive cabal, it was soon discovered that, like other members, he also had talents behind the decks.??His eclectic sets, ranging from acid to techno to electro to just downright weird, can now be heard at a variety of clubs, bars, and sketchy afterparties around Chicago. Never taking himself too seriously, Brandon simply aims to provide a good time with great music by which to properly jack. ??When he's not pretending to be a DJ, this young lad also likes to moonlight as a musician, producing various forms of techno under his birth name; dark ambient music to commit suicide by as Jakob Creutzfeldt; and wrestling music from the distant future's past as one half of the tag-team duo Ricky the Steamboat.
