I've never had the urge to move to florida, but that is enticing. |

Even though I don't think it is widely accepted, it seems like many people suffer from SAD (not the opposite of happy) but Seasonal Affective Disorder i.e. 'Winter Depression.'
SAD is predominantly based on the amount of solar light we receive which varies from season to season due to changes in solar elevation and from day to day due to changes in cloud cover. The shorter days of winter, with their corresponding lack of light, are believed to be the major causes of SAD. When the sun is less than 30 degrees above the horizon and the sky is overcast with low and/or middle clouds, the amount of solar light decreases considerably, producing a dark day. |
damn right. i went to the balearics in december 2005 and it ing rocked. It was light until 5-5:30pm instead of 3:30pm in england, and 6 out of 7 days were sunny. I felt so much better just having that than i would have done being here. We've not had a cloud for 3 days now, but overall it's rained like 2-3 days in the entire month of april. that's not normal at all but I'll take it. |

It’s been really bright and sunny out pretty much every day down here for the past month or 2, I mean just perfectly beautiful out...and when I was on my way to work this morning, I realized how cheerful and happy I’ve been for a while now. I wonder if it’s because of the weather.
Do you guys get affected by weather? I’m pretty sensitive to my surroundings and rainy days n stuff and all of a sudden I’m convinced that my mood will change if it starts raining and I don’t want that to happen. lol |
im extremely sensitive to the weather |
