Amen.
Statewide smoking ban was best thing they ever did in Ohio. I went to a show in Detroit and almost choked to death at the afterparty - seriously. I honestly can't fathom why anyone would even start smoking in the first place... |

| I agree with G's stance, there are certain environment...like most bars and clubs, where smoking should be allowed, and each individual can make their own decision to be patrons of an establishment or not. Personally cigarettes and liquor go well together.....like 'waffles and cocaine' |

| what has been implemented in most bars over the past year seems to work pretty well... the smoker has to stay within like 8 feet of the actually bar... ive noticed my clothes smell better.. less people smoking at one time... and i know where to avoid the smoke... |

I have been wondering about this. If the attendance at events goes down after the ban goes into effect... what does it mean? Does it mean that the majority of people go out not to listen to the DJ, not to hang out with friends, not to drink, but ONLY to smoke????? And that, if that one element is taken away, it turns them away immediately???
What does that mean?? Say your favorite DJ is coming to a club near you - is the primary reasoning behind your decision to see them (or not) based on whether or not you can smoke there? |

It was first reported on March 17th, 2006. On that day, they said the ban would GO INTO EFFECT on March 17th, 2007. Believe me, I was following it very closely. :D But, nothing happened on that day. I don't know WTF happened. I think some smokers up in the parliament or whatever passed some bills under da table and got it extended that would be my guess Lawl |
