NEWARK, N.J. -- James E. McGreevey, the nation's first openly gay governor, told NewsChannel 4 on Wednesday that he is entering a seminary amid reports that he wants to become an Episcopal priest.
"I'm so excited about it," McGreevey told WNBC.com's Brian Thompson. McGreevey has applied to the General Theological Seminary in Manhattan.
Friends of the former governor told NewsChannel 4 that McGreevey has wanted to enter the priesthood since his days in high school, college, and even law school. Now, the friends said, McGreevey has the freedom to do it. |

| Funny thing ill always remember about this guy...he gave the commencement speech at my graduation from Univ of Delaware in 2004. His speech was so unpleasant, making the speech more of a political debate, and ended up getting Boo'd numerous times throughout the speech. Anyways,...just a thought that came to mind when i saw his name...ok im done. :nervous: |

Bro, I'd go to the gay-est party and wouldn't give a fawk about it because I am there to listen to the music if its good and dance. (I dont have to keep my eyes open to do that ;) )
Besides, I was refering to a point that priests have all the fun ;) |

I think they have the wrong denomination. Don't they mean he wants to become a Catholic priest. |

| He was my town's MAYOR when I was growing up. Ever since he came out I've been wondering what he was looking at during the Mayor's Trophy Soccer Tournaments...haha. |
