As hard as it is to believe after two fantastic years Mezzanine does not want to host the Love Lee Party this year.
Just another case of a club wanting to make more money by booking themselves. Guess it business but really SUCKS IMO.
Will keep you posted on plan B. |

that sucks! i have yet to be but i was really looking forward to this party this year! hope that you guys find another venue that works just as good if not better!

This is a tough town on venues, one of the reasons we do our intimate thing on Wedensday nights. I feel the LoveLee Party was the best event I had ever been to at Mezzanine and I know they made good money. Somehow this still was not enough for them. I have been told now the venue is open for booking that night if someone is willing to rent it for $5000.
Lots and lots of love went in to the LoveLee Party to make it different and I think it showed.
We had Ruby Skye on ice for that night too but due to non commitementm from Lee and his agent we lost that date and Ruby booked Blank & Jones. Who also happens to be with the same agency as Lee. Go figure. |
