For what?

hm, I think I'll vote for him now

Black people need protection, too.
MisterOpus1
It's a result of the excessively large crowds he's drawing everywhere he goes. Crazy.

You know i'm starting to dislike this guy.

He talks about the church and god too ing much. "Black people need to stop using words like 'ho' and 'nigga' and find their morals in religion and faith..."

So goody-goody, me.

Give those kids a book called "The Selfish Gene" by Richard Dawkins or "The Red Queen" by Matt Ridley, to let them know about evolution, and stop all this ing childish bull...

Sorry you feel that way. I know it's a bit of a false dichotomy scenario he's creating, but that's just his background coming through a little. I'm not one for wearing religion on my sleeve, so I understand your argument, however I do think some obvious social influences by the African-American community need to be seriously scrutinized and support of those influences should be ceased ASAP. Something that's incredibly harmful and disgusting, for example, is the marketing of the "stop snitching" phrase:

Anderson Cooper on CNN did a series on this, and I was just flabbergasted watching it. It's ing unbelievable to me, and I can't think of anything socially that's more harmful that African Americans are doing to themselves. I'm all for free-speech, even the kind of speech that repulses and angers me to no end, but making a profit off of that (albeit also legal) just takes the cake.

I know my redneck family thinks he's a muslim. Maybe he is pushing religion a bit so that people will see he's not.

I like him, but I do think he is kind of being put up there (whether he is doing it intentionally or not) as some type of savior or Jesus Christ figure...kind of like what happened with Bush after 9/11. I think he needs to tone that down some. If you go to his MySpace page and watch his videos..you'll know what I mean. Sure we need someone other than Bush, someone different, but being elevated to some Christ like figure may not be the best strategy. It's almost like Tiesto or Armin...haha...DJ Worship. But I still think Obama, of all the Democrats, is probably the one with the best chance and largest following, and will most likely get the nomination.

That does seem to be part of it. It seems as if he's constantly trying to tell people that he is not a muslim. If I remember correctly he went to a primarily muslim school when he was a child, but that's because he was raised in Indonesia which is a heavily muslim country. Kind of hard not to go to school there without that happening. I may be wrong here as well, but I'm pretty sure he also went to a catholic school.

They may when they are overseas?

But this was mainly done because the secret service itself was getting nervous about the crowds, it sounds like the secret service actually approached the campaign to have them request protection.

I think they are scared of having a Sirhan Sirhan incident happen.
