...probably because there is no element of surprise when you end up going to the same venues, with the same crowd, for the same dozen DJs.

I just watched an episode of 90210 yesterday where they had to bring an egg to a specific convenience store and ask to exchange it. Then they would get the directions to an underground party.
My favorite part of the episode was when Brandon asked why all these people were going up to a biker looking guy wearing a black shirt with a GIANT white "4" on it. Emily Valentine answered, "Brandon, the 4 is for Euphoria. He sells Euphoria. You know...like the drug." |

It may not be the same DJs and same crowd, but the experience is still the same, you're right.
Also I noticed parties of the past are becoming more and more of a blur. |

| i guess its a different feeling im getting as apposed to you guys cuz you have been in the crowed for so long... im a newb to it all and im just lovin it... i love meeting new people, i love the music, i love the dancing and i love the atmosphere... i guess eventually i will settle into the 'not as intense' grove but until then im gonna milk it hhhhhhaaaarrrrrrrrddddd :) |

ADD: you know I used to feel like that when I came up to Guv every weekend (WAY before my TA days, like 2001-2004). I haven't felt like that in nyc ever. Yes, I still get hella excited for a good party but its def not the same feeling as when I first started. |

I used to get the fuzzy feeling in my first year of partying. I'd get so excited and nervous at the same time. At the time of standing in the line the feeling would reach its max and I would start bouncing around and smoking cigarettes to reduce the feeling and calm the F down.
Oh good old days.
P.S I think the memory of joy and euphoria of E is the main reason for this feeling. I don think I'd get as excited if I was supposed not to do any on a specific nite.
