Movie REVIEW: Spiderman 3

I like cheese on my burger, i like cheese on my pizza, i like cheese on pasta, and i like cheese on fries with gravy on top, but what i dont like is cheese in my movies, and boy was spiderman 3 ever cheesy.

I'll try not to ruin the movie with spoilers, although it does it so well for itself. It was great how the first two movies showed that spiderman had increased senses (spider sense), which is pretty cool stuff, but he couldnt notice a freaking meteorite landing 10 meters beside him, oh well.

The story line developed the relationship between Peter and M.J...thats great, except i came to see spidey kick ass, and im sure what everybody came to see was Venom, and his debut in this feature. Too bad that Venom's character had about 1 minute of explanation, it's a symbiote and its bad, whoop tee doo. where he came from, or why he's evil, is up to you to find out cause they dont explain it in the movie. Lucky for you the movie does show you that MJ is a bitch, and that Peter is the next Fonz.

I did enjoy hearing someone in the theatre scream "She got bitchslapped" when MJ gets slapped, that made my night.

As for the cheeziness, this movie is full of cliche and too much crying. I mean for gods sake, how much can you cry, its one thing to shed a manly tear but this is just too much. Peter standing outside her window, but when she looks he's already gone, CLICHE. The most cheezy part in this movie was spiderman springing into action with the American flag waving right behind him taking up the entire screen, we get it, patriotism, but an American flag that takes up the entire screen, very CHEESY.

All the crying in the end was just too much, Spiderman and Sandman discussing their lifes dissapointements and crying about it, i was waiting for them to hug, kiss, and make up. and tje last scene when Harry dies, oh god, i was thinking "You cant die Mr. Frodo", JEEZ.

anyways, this movie was a great dissapointment in comparison to the last two, Im pissed off that i went to the midnight screening with my hopes up just to finish writing this review at 4 in the freaking morning. i give it a 5/10, this movie doesnt pass even in college standards.

i give it a 6/10 a big disapointment for me, but thinking back to how bad X-man 3 was (i gave that one a 4/10), alsmost makes this movie a bit better, but just a tiny bit. :P

I think the whole post-911 pseudo-patriotism in the media is complete bull and looks completely shallow; ala Fox News.

Sucks that the movie blows, thanks for the heads up. Can't say i wasn't expecting it though. On the flip side, there's a scene release already so no one has to waste their money.

I haven't had the wind knocked out of me like this since I learned that professional wrestling was staged,,,,:o
I'll still have to shell out $$$ to see for myself but thanks preparing me for the let-down.

most people know something about spiderman, and most of the people who actually went to see the movie, know alot about spiderman, so who cares if they diddnt explain where the symbiote came from and ....i dont want to sit for half an hour learning about its origin...we know its bad...not just from venom obviously...

Worst movie this year so far... 5/10. Felt like I was ripped off when it was done.
