I'm sure Liquified just loves it when you make announcements while they are eagerly waiting to make the announcements at a particular time!
Tiesto playing is a very mixed feeling.....Yeah Tiesto was the 3 to 5 years ago, but now he is over-glamourized and over-commercialized. And his musical style these days reflects that - changes with the wind. Never like Armin, who is stays true to his roots and passion and is the foremost pioneer for trance music without the need for popularity and glamour....Oh let me go buy Armin's new shoes....NEVER!! because he is not like that. His passion is music - plain and simple, cut and dry.
But then again, Tiesto brings the crowds and the $$$ (a promoter's dream) but you have to wonder, what kind of crowds is he bringing?.....those just like himself, who flitter with the wind.. |
