i think its been a few years since i made a post in here (shame me ahh..)
i noticed all (good) trance scene were going Down for some years..
were not hearing quality stuff like before, now when i hear tracks like rank1 symsonic dumonde remix, forever waiting mike remix... im asking is there a chance for more like it or is it all behind us and the quality club trance scene is totally over .....???

Yup, the type of trance that you mentioned above (epic/uplifting) doesn't exist anymore, instead, rank 1/above & beyond/fred baker/ etc now just churn out track after track, all of which sound bland/similar or attempt to be proggy/electro.

I sort-of agree with the above. I can't really see that style of trance becoming big again.
Also agree that airwave still makes respectable trance - he's one of the few left. |

There's plenty of good Trance to go around. It just happens that most of those good Trance tunes that I end up buying are dated 1998 or earlier. |
