| I need to purchase 2 tickets for Grease. GF bday gift. All I see if like 190 each or lowest 140 each. Is this play that expensive to see or anyone one of you know how to get a great deal on these tickets?Seating is not important. |

| yup they are that expensive. The bigger broadway shows (ie: jersey boys, lion king and now grease: esp with the whole TV show hoopla) are usually around that price. |

thats REALLY risky for a big show. I am not a huge fan of b'way shows, but I worked in times square once and heard MANY people complaining about betting on tkts for their shows.....and my mom as well has had issues with the bigger shows bc everyone wants them and you have to be there LONG before the show to get some....its like goiing to a yankees/bosox playoff game at 7:30 and wanting seats pfft. lol tkts is usually only worth it for the smaller shows, but you could always try it. |

When are you trying to go? I looked and the ticketmaster prices weren't that high, but there weren't tickets until the show opens in July (or is there some other Grease other than that one?). They had low of $71, high of $250. There are fees on top of that, too, but not $70 worth
The only things that I've seen that were so high that even cheap seats were expensive were Jersey Boys, Wicked, Lion King (basically, all the ones my mom made me look for tickets for). |
