| I'm not going to lie... 95% of vocal trance has just hideously cheesy vocal lines - the writing is so basic, and without depth. However, its those 5 percent that can absolutely blow your mind, when cleverly placed at the heart/peak of a set. Ahhh those have been some of the greatest times of my life. |

Ian Van Dahl was my favourite in the early 90s. Reason, Will I?, Castles in the Sky, that ACE album was set to repeat on my cd player for a whole year.
I'd kill to go back in those days, with the above and Lasgo, Alice DeeJay, Rollergirl, 4-Strings, iio.... those were my best times.
/yeah yeah, not all trance, I know, but 2001-2003 were awesome years for EDM vocals. |

yeah, typo... sorta half-assed corrected myself in the end. Castles was 2001 and Alice DeeJay even earlier.. so the 2001-2003 period. oh and I forgot the Vengaboys (yeah you others laugh now, but everyone liked them back then)
