Last nite definitely wasn't as great as when JZ soloed. It seemed like Nic's opening set was a little boring in terms of track selection and I was pretty drunk by then.

The tag team was definitely awesome tho. I liked the daft punk songs

Kos was sick. I don't know who he is or where he came from, but awesome set :D

They closed with Daft Punk - Da Funk, even more awesome.

Kos is a brilliant opener. Whoever was playing before him, had him playing into Audiojack remix of erotic discourse @ 1030pm.. lol, is LA lacking openers??
All around, i heard good things from the boys.. they are well on their way on the rave bus to Las Vegas. Bas, i will upload a recent promo mix of Kos to a link, stay tuned.

I've only heard Randy, John & Justin, and The Architects of Sound opening and they always ALWAYS do a great job. Not sure who was opening last night though.

Great seeing you all. I had to leave early with a major headache, but at least I got to see Nic and James on stage for a bit. It was fun while it lasted. Nice pics by the way.

Yeah I dunno who that moron before him was, but I remember being on the patio when he mixed in Erotic Discourse...definite wtf moment. Kos was good but a little too jumpy for my taste, I like my opening sets smooth and building. He played some great tracks though, got to hear This Machine (Timewriter), it was nice.

James and Nic were great together. Nic started off brilliantly and then he sort of lost me about 4-5 tracks in, and I'm not a fan of Dubfire mix of Lucky Heather, would have preferred the original later. I spent alot of time bouncing between the main room, upstairs, and the patio. Met loads of people, so many names, so little memory (damn you adios). One of them played Juergens - Love It at like 3am, it was sick.

James also played Santos - Mad Acid, a track I had in my cart for awhile at beatport but dropped cause it wasnt really that good...it sure got everyone going but I'm not a huge fan :p
Miss Julia
That Daft Punk song at the end made my night!

As far as one + one goes, i think james wears the pants in that relationship, lol. when they were tagging teaning, i noticed it was mostly james doing the work. but then again, i was really drunk off 2 really strong drinks, so i dunno lol

but ya, i danced so much, my body is hurtin right now!

*edit* also, vangaurd was packed till the very end last night. every time i go there, it doesn't stay packed like that till the end. must mean everyone enjoyed the music too much to leave! :D
