Birthday in our profiles?

What happened to the ability to add/edit our birthday in our profiles? Am I missing something, or has that feature changed? I'm pretty sure I had my birthday listed (without the year) and now it's gone. I notice oldschool members who had this info filled out still have it in their profiles though.
Can someone please let me know how I can add this info back in? Thanks. |

| Some idiots decided to play a little prank and as a result the ability to edit your birthday was removed from everyone. |

Are you sure? Pretty much every profile I look at now just says N/A, including mine. |

I understand why it was done but it's still a bit lame how it's affected everybody instead of just those who caused the problem.
