As a Markus Schulz addict , can"t wait to know the party report and tracklist of Markus... thanx:)

I'll start it out.
He started with Pryda - Armed.
I heard a track that sounded like Wamdue - King of my Castle (SVD remix) but no vocals which was fine by me.
I heard Crosses, Louder ... I think I also heard Play it Louder.
Well those are just some tracks.

I liked the first part of his set, but then it got too "trancy" for me. It's not that I don't like trance, but it was too much like Armin, but not as good as Armin. The same goes for Armin when he tris to play too much like Markus. Some people will know what I mean.

I don't know what one of his encore tracks was, but most other people seemed to si I felt ignorant. It had female whiney vocals. I didn't like it much, but everybody else seemed to.

Overall it was a good night out. Great for Markus's first time to Houston. I've now been to Markus's first times in a few cities such as LA, and DC and it's always nice to see him. Props to Sean/77002 for always putting together good shows. I like the Bar-Rio space and the Houston crowd is decent crowd as well. I remember when that clu was 6400 and Pete's Wildlife - yeah, I'm older. I do wish the shows were on Saturday and the sound was a bit better, but that's just me.

Reading your post, I have to say.. it makes complete sense why Markus does what he does... he doesn't play the same out, just like I wont. The music I play at home or in the studio for a STUDIO mix, isn't the same music I play @ a club. Same goes for Markus. YOU might want him to play that style, but as a DJ... he is there to please everyone. Playing trancier style progressive, allows for him to keep the crowd involved and not deeter to some of the 'boring' progressive moments.
