LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, I just realized what his name means! I didn't think about it last night!! :crazy:
He actually played a really good opening set (after Armen). More review later. I have to go to work now. |

i've been at work since 7:30 am. i am soooooo tired!!!! i only go out to MNS for certain djs! but seeing nic and james was worth it! good times, good times |

I told my work that I had to go to a "doctor appointment" this morning. Hopefully believe me when I walk in and they see how exhausted I am, LOL!!! |

| Was totally a great night!!! I had a blast!! Especially Opening up for those guys was pretty much a dream come true!!! Seemed like everyone was having a blast!! |

Well, I just got to work. This day is going to go by sooooo slow. :sadgreen:
About last night, it was so freaking HOT and packed. Everytime I liked a track, I kept asking Kos what the song was (sorry, I have to know what every good song is, even though I don't DJ lol). The only ID I got was "Stereo Freaks - Port Splits". That song ROCKED, from what I can remember!!! A lot of the songs rocked. I wanted to dance and go crazy, but it was way too hot & packed.
Armen, I'm sorry me & Jenny didn't get there early enough to catch your set. We were in line for like 30 mins outside. |

| it was a cool party. kos had a great opening set. i think the One+One concept is rather dumb. I had been waiting a long time to see Nic Fanciulli for the first time and I was disappointed. His mixing was really rough and didn't appear to be having much fun. I really enjoyed when Zabs would go solo and just go nuts with the efx and layering of samples and different tracks. I believe that Nic Fanciulli holds Zabiela back and I would have much preffered to see Zabs solo. I loved hearing the dirtybird tracks throughout the night especially since I was wearing a dirtybird tshirt. It was cool seeing all the darkside TA's and meeting new ones. The sound at the club was much better than before with the old setup in the corner. Although it was hard to get up in front to watch the dj's work their magic on all the knobs. I love Monday Night Social and their intimate setting, I can't wait to go back. |

you should have gone to the vanguard on saturday. then you would have seen a really great set by nic. he did seem distracted at times and didn't spin as much as james. there were way too many people behind them, they kept trying to dodge people walking back and forth behind them. not sure what the reason was for the different set from nic???? he didn't spin as much in miami either and the vibe was off there as well. but saturday was a perfect combination, imo, of both of them individually spinning and then tag teaming. |
