i have a bulging disk in my neck that is pushing in to my spinal cord causing a lot of nerve damage and numbness in both hands and left leg so they have to go in and insert 2 cadaver bones in between my c4 and c5 to relieve the pressure. they are going to cut in through the front of my neck. pretty nasty and scary. not looking forward to it at all!!!! now i have to miss piet b/c of it. :whip:

my mother had the same exact surgery about 10 years ago. i dont know how horrible ur condition is, but if it is, u shouldnt even risk to dance and stuff before the surgery at all. take care.

yeah, i know, i'm one of those people though that tend to work through the pain and can't stand to not be active. i'm just crossing my fingers until june :) and thank you

its not the pain, its more than pain.

my moms condition was serious, her disk was being pushed too much and she had a high risk of being paralyzed. but she had disk for a while before it became that serious, so dont be too worried.

i never hear her complaining about it ever again after the surgery, so thats great news. the only thing she has is neck/headaches she sometimes gets but i dont think that has to do anything with the surgery. i guess thats genetic cause i get them too.

take care of urself. i dont suggest u go out after the surgery from what i remember, cause ull have that neck brace or whatever it is for a month or so. wish u the best.
