| I miss Sonic so so very much these days especially after this past weekend were I ended up at Koolhaus on a sat night and seriously there were more skasians then I had ever seen assembled in one place. It made me think back to what a great place sonic was. The tunes were very solid every time I was there and every night was an epic night that I couldn’t let myself leave before 9am or later. I never had any problem with the staff there either they were always pleasant and friendly and made every night great. One thing that set Sonic apart from every other club that I have ever been to is the vibe the crowd was always so into the music and everybody on the dance floor was giving it their all while dancing. I remember the night of Chus & Ceballos the place was going nuts and I had to go to the bathroom and I have never seen the entire line to the bathroom giving'er and I don't mean two stepping to the beat while waiting but actually dancing I thought to my self now this is a party. The place was just the greatest club I have ever been to and it's the place were I 1st did end up seeing Chus & Ceballos for the 1st time and fell in love with tribal. Sonic also made me fall in love with prog house a genera that I never really appreciated before going there. Another great thing about Sonic were the residant DJ's who most night played just as good as the International talent and added to the great feel of the club. I have nothing but fond memories of Sonic and for all that I will never forget what a great place it was. I hope If anyone takes over it the will a great job. |

LoL i was totally gonna start a thread exactly like this haha
SONIC was abcolutely amazing while it lasted....and especially last summer...im gonna miss it so much this year its rediculous. Guess im gonna have to just get used to Docks on Sunday mornings........i'll try and keep the Sonic Vibe Alive haha :tongue2 |
