| LOL!!! My sister and I actually looked online several years ago to find out where the closest Sonic was because of the same reason and found they were all south downstate. It's very frustrating to see that they still air here to this day. :haha: |

I'm going to get some Hardee's. Thanks for reminding me about curly fries, Andy!

Will you plz bring me a Nascar cup next time you come to Chicago? Nothing says you're drinking a refreshing drink like Mark Martin in the #40 car.
Oh speaking of places like this, there's also Tractor Supply that heavily advertises here and I don't think there's one closer than Southern Indiana. |

| I've definitely made the Chicago -> Champagne roadtrip solely for some Sonic. I'll try to remember this thread the next time we do it =) |

Culver's bacon butter burger deluxe used to be my ultimate hangover lunch.
glad to know i'm not the only one that gets pissed off at the Sonic commercials and looks online to see how far away the closest one is, lol. |

I took Bobby to In-N-Out when he was here, I told him to get "animal style fries". Yeah I don't think he's been the same since. I should Fed-Ex him some in-n-out :p |

Wow, I never thought I'd see anyone who made a big deal of CiCi's...its a guilty pleasure.
Yeah, we have Sonic and JITB everywhere in San Antonio. Its no wonder we're so fat here.
I felt the same way every time I saw Boston Market commercials. We still don't have those in SA. If In n Out fell off the face of the earth I would say Culver's is the best. |

Anyone else here tired of seeing the commercials? They air none stop and there is neither a Jack or a Sonic within 100 miles of chicago city limits.
Its frustrating because when I lived in Texas, Sonic / Jack in the Box were staples and I would really like to eat some but I'm not driving 100 miles. Plus I can't believe they have been paying for premium chicago commercials spots for years... I just dont get it...
Another thing that is awesome in Texas is Ci Ci's pizza buffet which recently opened up by Park Ridge... that is definitely worth checking out... |
The advertising campaign usually designed to accommodate 80/20 rule which means reaching out to 80% of viewers of a particular channel. Comedy Central, for example, runs Alltel Wireless commercial on systematic bases while being essentially not available as a service provider in Chicago and its peripherals. The idea behind this is to get exposure to the new markets and audiences and establish a solid brand-recognition ground. |
