spent tonight recording this song, then after my friends elmo and dre left, i had some time with the raw tracks to work my own version.
somehow this came out, don't ask me. late 80's george michaels-ish meets a more house-oriented postal service? idk

pop, if you will :p

i like it, the backbone sort of have a similar vibe to the Uwe Schmidt (Atom) remix of Emiliana Torrini's Sunny Road, and i can totally spot the links to like postal service. i think the vocal & the piano need some extra processing to sit better in the mix but eitherhow, this is good stuff.

Hmm.. very different. I salute your desire to work with different styles of music.

Bass - Needs to be a little fuller, with a track like this you can afford to be more free with the low end stuff.

Vocal may also need some corrective work or to be re-sung as its off in a few places.

Other than that I would say very cool to hear something different here.

Cheers

I thought it was boobass but didn't want to say it for sure just in case I put my foot in it.

For a track like this you should possible look at getting a real bass in there.
