Their "plan" was to get access to the base disguised as pizza delivery men, shoot up some Humvees, kill some people, and get away without a scratch.

This plot is only slightly more believeable than the whole Padilla dirty bomb crap, and I would believe the plausability of someone actually being able to sell me a part of the Brooklyn Bridge before I would believe that guy was actually the threat Ashcroft tried to sell him as.

Ah, got it.
Thanks for clearing that up.

Read up a little more on this and it appears you guys really need to rethink your immigration laws down there...

A federal law enforcement source confirmed to FOX News that the three — Dritan "Anthony" or "Tony" Duka, 28; Shain Duka, 26; and Eljvir "Elvis" Duka, 23 — also accumulated 19 traffic citations, but because they operated in "sanctuary cites," where law enforcement does not routinely report illegal immigrants to homeland security, none of the tickets raised red flags.

That right Q5, before Bin Laden, there was NO such thing as Islamic extremism ANYWHERE.

one was a cab driver, three were roofers (i believe the brothers) one worked at 7-11 another at a supermarket.

Sedar Tater, 23, also worked at his dad's pizza parlor named "Super Mario's" in Cookstown. he delivered pizza regularly to the base.

ah yes, that's exactly what I read because I thought I remembered someone about one having intimate knowledge of the base because of being a pizza delivery dood...

turns out the three brothers have been here in the states for the last 23 years.

Which means they moved to America in 1984, and therefore have nothing to do with the KLA

Islamic extremism (or Islamism/Political Islam) has its roots in the 1920s with the establishment of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Think they were mainly political and don't think they took up violence until the state began to crack down on them (round 40s/50s). Syria also made them illegal in the 80s and pretty much killed them all. I think it was in the 80s when violent political Islam really took off with the creation of Hamas in Palestine (who were a branch of the MB who broke off cos the MB did not take up violence), the creation of Hizballah and the Afghan-Russo war that radicalised swathes of Muslims across the world. The 90s saw a simmering down of their activites then, like ecstacy, saw a ressurgence in the new millenium!

Oh yea, familiar with the Muslim Brotherhood history alright.
There some good videos on the Internets somewhere regarding all this.

Time to focus on real threats here.
